- Both quantities are already metered or weighed on most plants.
- It can be normalised for load and fuel quality, so periods can be compared fairly.

ControlAlign™ is a standalone, historian-derived, read-only thermodynamic performance analysis service. It follows three steps: Observe → Quantify → Verify. It has no control authority over the plant.
It is available case by case for large multi-site clients, whether or not they use HydroHub™.
