Technical note
Why combustion air, not fuel, is the injection path
HydroHub™ adds oxyhydrogen to the boiler's combustion air path, rather than to the fuel. This keeps the fuel handling, burner and firing system exactly as the boiler maker designed and certified them.
Injecting into the air path means the gas line has a single, simple tie-in point, can be isolated by the safety interlocks without affecting fuel delivery, and leaves the plant able to run normally with HydroHub™ off.
The exact injection point and dosing are engineered for each site from its own combustion data during assessment.
